This creation of mine is rather small — only 8.5 cm from her ears to paws.

Little Owl looks a bit strictly and scary, but actually she is very cosy. Her wings, her back and her tale are made from the pieces of knitted fabric. The rest of the body is soft acrylic looking very naturally, just like wool.

The wings of the Owl are spread for she is flying. On her left wing there is a cotton bag with a bright fake flower inside.

The eyes are made of strass.
It is better not to spoil it, because the Owl can loose its appearance because of washing.

The mill's base is a cardboard cilinder.
One can open and close the door with a little metallic hook.
There are three windows (one of them is right under the top of the roof).
Above this upper window is a silver cock.
One can push any blade and all of them will make few circles as the blades are based on the “wheel” from the old audiotape.

First of all I created red
needle-felted telophone. Red as the heart, red as the color of
love... with wire of blue as the deep blue sky. The ideal present for everyone who is
in love and who is waiting for the call.

Just imagine that somebody is going to
call you right now: your telephone is still keeping silence, but something is in the air. I tried to find out how I can depict
this particular moment by means of doll-making.

So, I decided to create a tiny slender
long-legged horse who is in a hurry to the telephone and who is
carring a tiny “wire” of the color of the rainbow.

By the way the disc for the telephone
is made from the magnet from the earphones. That's why it is going to attract
long-awaited calls and news, I'm almost sure about it)))

Good news to you!

In the beginning of June I found a little metallic plate lying on the ground. It was written "Benny fish" on it. Most probably it was the brandname of the clothes, and somebody has lost it from his or her coat or sweater. I wondered how Benny fish may look like. That's how I created this flat one-sided needle-felted wool fish with a name Benny written in a disappearing way on it's side.
The upper part of the letter “B” is written on the thoracic fin. Also there is a decorative patch on her body. On the patch there is a hook (which is the part of the earring) one can catch this fish on.

I was really curious — what kind o goods are produced under the brand “Benny fish”.

Benny Fish online

I have found out that the clothes “Benny fish” really exists, but unfortunately there is no web-site of the brand-owner, manufacturer or distributor. I found only few private pages where people say that this or that garment they have is by “Benny fish”, also there are some private announcements from those who want to sell for example a jacket, a coat or jumper “Benny fish”. Also I have found a site of a Polish boutique with a non-working link to the goods by “Benny fish”.

Almost all these pages were from such countries as Slovakia, Poland, etc. So, I came to the conclusion, that “Benny fish” is a “little” trademark known mainly in these countries, and the person who has lost the metallic plate I have found on the ground most probably was a tourist from Slovakia or Poland who came to Pisa.

I want to share with you what else I have found out about Benny fish.

Boats

There is a web-site www.bennyfish.com, which seems to be dedicated to boats or boat motors.

Restaurants

The Benny's Fish Restaurant is situated in the very center of Jerusalem. The web site says that this restaurant is the Jerusalem's oldest fish restaurant, established 33 years ago by Benny Rosenzweig, whose father and grandfather were already prominent in the fish business. Benny also owns several large fish stores in Mahane Yehuda.

BENNYS Fish Bar has been established since 2004 by John and Susan in Bishop Auckland, UK, though their "Fish Shop" has been number one for many years and is well known to locals and visitors alike.

In London there is also a little fish restaurant named Benny's.

Names

There are lots of men whose names and surnames are Ben (or Benny) Fish. More than that there are few young people who use Benny Fish as a nickname in the web. I bet the name of almost all of them is Benny )))

P.S. - of course I used the metallic plate to decorate this creation of mine )))

This Little Horse dressed in a coat with delicate collar and in warm tall boots with decorative lacing is still a child.

She is trustfully waiting for something, she is waiting eagerly for something that was promised to her.
She is not able even to imagine yet that not all the wishes come true.

As a Russian proverb says: it is worth waiting for three years for something that was promised)))

It
often happens so, that grown-ups promise something to the child and
absolutely forget about it some days later, it is quite naturally for
they have too many things to keep in mind and to think about,
but the child is the one who doesn't forget and is waiting and waiting for something that most probably will never come true.

Who knows? may be things are not so bad.

The Horse's mane decorated with beads seems to be dressed in the African-style.

Her clothes is designed as a part of the figure, it is not possible to undress her.Inside of each limb there is a wire.

The Horse is not able to stand by herself, I made the hidden support for her in order to make the impressive pictures.

It is better not to wash the doll for it can loose its appearance.

This is Black — rock'n'roll style — Fox. Why?

For example, rock 'n' roll music is considered to be of "black" origin.
This Fox is dressed in a quite eclectic way: in her clothes one can
find a combination of elements of "country" and at the same time the of
the 50-60s "American college" style.
She has got only one boot for the other one she has lost somewhere in the dance hall.
Her eyesight is a bit sad maybe 'cause the rock 'n 'roll times are already gone.

By the way, her collar looks very similar to the one of Elvis Presley
(the King of rock'n'roll) on the playing "J"-card with his portrait.

It may seem that this is just a bird,
but actually it is more than a bird.
This is the Soul of the Bird.
She has got a heartwarming "face" and shining cunning eyes.
On her cheeks there is a colour. Around her neck there is a necklace
with a little "golden" bird.
Her wings are made like a
wool cape with a little hood. One can button it up and put it on and
off. The button of the cape is transparent blue with gold. The right
"wing" of the cape and the loop fastener are decorated with
beads.

I do not know exactly what is the story of this bird.
May be the bird has already died (have you ever seen dead birds?
usually they lie on their back or on their side with their legs
tucked up beneath them).

So, may be the real bird is dead, but
the soul is alive and is awakening and going to be absolutely free.

I do not know exactly whether this lion is a "child" or a "grown-up". On the one hand, his appearance and clothes are rather childish, also he has got a touching face. On the other hand, he has got the mane of a grown-up lion, more than that his hare is grey.

Maybe you have met such people, especially among scientists and programmers. They look young even if they are 50. They do not want their clothes to be solid and respectful and this makes them look even more young.

As a decoration on his sweater there is a violet glass "eye" which is considered to be as an amulet against the evil eye in Italy (and as far as I know in Turkey).

This is a flat primitive stuffed animal.

This Wolf is really a strange one.

Somewhere he has heard a story that in ancient times some of his ancestors had some mystical abilities, for example, to disappear and stay invisible for some time. Nowadays wolves have already lost the skills like this. They are no more, but ordinary animals.
This Wolf (one can see on the pictures) turned out to be a very stubborn guy. He decided that he can find out the way how to become invisible. He kept training for few hours almost every day.

The first results gave him a great inspiration, so he started to think that he has discovered the ancient secret, but after first success his progress has stopped and he could do nothing more than to make the part of his body to become just a little lighter and more transparent.

He was very confused because his progress has stopped, but I suppose that things are not so bad — modern times wolves are different from the ancient ones and sometimes it is no need to discover all the secrets of the past...

I used three different pieces of wool fabric and combined them together to make the wolf look a bit disappearing.

His pink old-style collar is decorated with old-looking mother-of-pearl button.
